Welcome

Welcome to my new blog!  Have a celebratory cupcake with me on the start of this new venture of mine.

I decided to restart my food blogging, because I'm really in love with food and the idea of making the things at home that I can't seem to find in the stores or when I'm out to eat.

It's likely you've come on over from my other blog, Art and Cookies, which covers my professional life as an artist.  Even if you haven't, welcome to all.  I'm Em or Ema, either is fine and both of nicknames.  I'm a published author, artist, and foodie.  You can check out my work in my portfolio.  I've got a stack of cookbooks, a good camera and a lot of love for kitchen gadgets.    Plum, Apple & Spoon became the name of my blog when I realized I was sitting at the table with those three things in front of me, and no real reason for assembling all of them (besides liking them all a great deal).  It seemed so perfect, so strange yet appropriate, that I remembered it when I went to name my new food blog.

Let's settle in together and make something delicious.
